West Liberty Basketball Still Undefeated As Hilltoppers Move Up NABC Poll
WEST LIBERTY – The West Liberty University men’s basketball team continues its impressive start to the season, moving up to No. 3 in the latest NABC Top 25 poll.
The Hilltoppers improved to a perfect 10-0 after securing back-to-back wins last week against Charleston and West Virginia State.
Next up, West Liberty will take a break from Mountain East Conference (MEC) action to compete in the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic at the South Point Arena, located inside the South Point Hotel and Casino.
The Toppers are set to face No. 10 Colorado School of Mines on Thursday at 6:45 p.m. in a marquee matchup. On Friday, they will take on an undefeated Missouri S&T squad (8-0) at 4:30 p.m.
After the Las Vegas event, West Liberty will enjoy a brief holiday break before resuming MEC play on January 8 with a road game at Frostburg State.
