Union Local Girls Summer Shootout

Entries are being accepted for the annual Union Local Girls Summer Shootout Basketball Tournament which will be held on Friday, June 6 at Union Local High School and The ECO Center. Teams are guaranteed three games.

There will be an Overtime Tourney at the end of the regular games.

The cost is $225 per team. Contact Coach Tolzda or Athletic Director Nick Nardo to reserve a spot.

WLU Men Ranked No. 1 In Regional

WEST LIBERTY – The West Liberty University men’s basketball team is No. 1 in the first NCAA Atlantic Region rankings of the season.

The No.6 nationally ranked Toppers are 23-2 overall and 22-2 in-region. They are followed by Gannon University (21-6) at No. 2, with Fayetteville State (19-7) rounding out the top three. East Stroudsburg (20-6) and West Chester (21-5) complete the top five, while Virginia State (17-8) holds the No. 6 spot.

Fellow Mountain East Conference members, Fairmont State No. 7 and Concord No. 9 are also in the first poll.
