West Virginia Adds Oklahoma Transfer Offensive Lineman

West Virginia picked up an SEC offensive lineman out of the transfer portal Thursday morning.

Oklahoma offensive lineman Josh Aisosa announced he is transferring to the Mountaineers with four years of eligibility left. Aisosa recently took an official visit to Morgantown this week.

Aisosa didn’t see action in his freshman year, allowing him to redshirt, but was a consensus three-star high school prospect out of Oklahoma.

The second-year player stands at 6-foot-3 and 331 pounds and joins an offensive line room that’s limited after graduation and the portal departures.

Rich Rodriguez looked for more depth at the offensive line and the line struggled during the Gold-Blue Spring Showcase, with the quarterbacks scrambling a lot. Aisosa might not start this fall, but he’ll be a developmental piece that could play a bigger role in the future.

Aisosa becomes the seventh transfer addition this spring for WVU and the second offensive lineman.

Starting at $2.99/week.
