Paul “PJ” Ballog Jr., a beloved father, grandfather, and great- grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, at Belmont Manor in St. Clairsville, Ohio, at the age of 81. He was born on September 26, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana a son to the late Paul and Mamie (Fasulla) Ballog Sr. PJ graduated from St. Clairsville High School in 1962 where he was an outstanding football player. She was born to the late Urban James and Susan Jane (Billman) Mallett on December 22, 1936, in rural Monroe County, Ohio. She graduated from Sardis High School in Monroe County and married Marlyn R. Valerie Ann Hogan, 68, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died on August 27, 2025, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was born January 21, 1957, in Bellaire, Ohio, the only daughter of the late Kenneth and Nelle Meister Thornton. Valerie was a retired teacher from Beallsville High School in Monroe County, Ohio.
