Fluid Foundations: A Beginner-Friendly Introduction to Watercolor – 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Table 304, 1509 Main St. in Wheeling. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the basics of watercolor, including an understanding of materials, brushstrokes, and techniques to build a solid foundation for your watercolor practice. With guidance and step-by-step instruction, you’ll leave this workshop with a finished painting and a small guide filled with techniques and brushstrokes to keep you inspired to paint. Table 304 is putting together a delicious charcuterie spread, filled with an assortment of tasty cheeses, savory meats, and fresh fruit for us to snack on during the workshop. Everything you need will be provided: supplies, instruction and demonstrations, personalized feedback, delicious food, and a beautiful space to create. Rock, Roll & Doo Wop Vol. 28 – 7 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre, 1015 Main St. in Wheeling. The Health Plan presents Rock, Roll & Doo Wop Volume 28. Headlining the evening will be Jay and the Americans, singing “This Magic Moment”, “Cara Mia”, “Come a Little Bit Closer”, “Some Enchanted Evening”, “Walkin’ in the Rain”, “Only in America”, “She Cried”, “Let’s Lock the Door (And Throw Away the Key)” and more. Plus… The Original Coasters (“Yakety Yak,” “Poison Ivy,” “Charlie Brown”), Dennis Tufano, singing all the songs he made famous as the lead singer of the Buckinghams (“Kind of Drag”, “Don’t You Care”, “Susan”, “Hey Baby! They’re Playing Our Song”, “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy”) and The Motortown All-Stars, assembled from members and former members of legendary Motown groups singing all the greatest hits of the Miracles, the Temptations, the Contours and more.
Live Music: Tucker Riggleman & the Cheap Dates, Stone Campus – 9 p.m. at Waterfront Hall, 1230 Water St. in Wheeling. Appalachian twang rock legends Tucker Riggleman & the Cheap Dates return to Waterfront Hall with local alternative heroes Stone Campus. Venue doors open at 8:30 p.m. and music kicks off at 9 p.m. $12 advance, $15 at the door.

WSO Yoga – 9 a.m. at the Wheeling Artisan Center, 1400 Main St. in Wheeling. Each yoga session is taught by a local instructor, with music provided by a WSO musician. All ages and experience levels are welcome-just bring water and a yoga mat or towel. The WSO Yoga Series is free to the public. Donations will be accepted at the door.

Bluegrass Jam – 6-9 p.m. at Quaker Steak and Lube at The Highlands. Every Monday evening, except for the Major Holiday Mondays, Quaker Steak and Lube at the Highlands hosts a weekly acoustic bluegrass music jam. The jam is free and open to the public. Folks are welcome to attend either as a musical participant or just come and enjoy dinner while you listen. Also from 5-6 p.m., more experienced musicians will be available to provide free instruction on any of the standard bluegrass instruments and vocal skills to enable you to get started in bluegrass music or enhance an existing skill level.
Dance & Movement Workshop with the Dancing Wheels Company – 6:30 p.m. at Easterseals Rehabilitation Center, 1305 National Road in Wheeling. Join us for an inclusive dance workshop with the Dancing Wheels Company. It is designed for individuals who previously found limited access to the arts due to physical, sensory, or developmental disabilities to be able to enjoy inclusive dance and participatory learning with their peers with or without disabilities.
