Charlie and Celeste Diehl of Mount Olivet will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
They were united in marriage on July 15, 1972, at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Church in Wheeling by the late Rev. Joseph Bell.
Celeste Diehl is the daughter of the late Leo and Dolores Auten Przelenski. She is retired from the former Capitol Business Interiors after 18 years of employment.
Charlie Diehl is the son of the late Charles and Wanda Murphy Diehl. He has been employed by Medical Supply Co. for 50 years.
Their family includes a daughter, Chana Baker, and her husband, Chad, and a son, Chad, and his wife, Christina, all of Wheeling. They have three granddaughters.
