Romicks Celebrate 40 Years

Barbara and John Romick of Wheeling are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today, May 19.

They were united in marriage May 19, 1979, at the First Baptist Church, Wheeling, by the Rev. Robert J. Romick.

Joann Kazmierczak was maid of honor and Joe Roy served as best man.

Barb is the daughter of the late Sophia and Stanley Kazmierczak of Wheeling. She is a retired English teacher from the Barnesville Exempted Village School District.

She works as a teacher for the Virtual Learning Academy of the Jefferson County Educational Service Center and as a scorer for NCS Pearson Inc., Pearson Educational Measurement Division.

John is the son of the late Betty Horton and William Romick of Martins Ferry. He is a retired vocational instructor from the Belmont-Harrison Career Center.

They are the parents of two children.

The family includes Tom Romick and his fiancee Jessica Bramer and Stana Romick all of Wheeling.

They will celebrate with a family dinner.
