Dundrs Mark 50 Years

Carolyn and Ken Dundr

Ken and Carolyn Dundr celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday.

They were united in marriage June 21, 1969, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dillonvale, by the Rev. John B. Nadzam.

Carolyn Dundr is the daughter of the late Ted and Mary Bartyzel. She retired as a certified public accountant with the accounting firm of Wallace Padden & Co. in 2008.

Ken Dundr is the son of the late Fred and Helen Dundr. He retired from the strip coal operation of Consolidation Coal Co. in 2002.

They founded Mount Pleasant Building Products in 1991, which they presently own jointly with their sons, Patrick and Brian, and nephew, Kevin Scott.

They have two children, Patrick and Brian, both of Mount Pleasant. They have one grandchild.

They will be honored with a 50th anniversary Mass on June 30 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. After the Mass, they will celebrate with a family dinner at the Farm Restaurant.
