Vincent and Betty Lazear of Bellaire will celebrate their 64th wedding anniversary on Aug. 18.
The couple was married Aug. 18, 1962, at Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Dawson, W.Va.
Betty is the daughter of the late Loren and Lovie Puckett of Dawson. She is a retired Marshall County Schools home economics and science teacher.
Vincent is the son of the late Milton and Irene Lazear of Wheeling. He is a retired teacher who taught industrial arts in Ohio and Marshall counties for 38 years.
They are the parents of two children: Loren Lazear and his wife, Laurie, of Pensacola, Florida; and Julie Jones and her husband, the Rev. Darrin Jones, of Wheeling.
Their family also includes two grandsons, two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters.
