Bill and Sally Sechrest of Bethlehem will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 4.
They were united in marriage on Sept. 4, 1976, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Mount Olivet, with the Revs. Carl Bauer and Peter Schlichting as celebrants.
Sally is the daughter of the late Don and Nancy Hinton. She retired from The Kroger Co. after 44 years of service.
Bill is the son of the late William and Stella Sechrest. He retired from Consol Energy Inc. after 42 years of service.
They are the parents of two daughters. The family includes Melanie (Nathan) Skrzypek and Melissa Stewart. They have three grandsons and one granddaughter.
