Couple Marks 60 Years

Thomas and Mary Louise Norris Sr. of Sherrard celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 8. They were united in marriage on April 8, 1961, at Wood Hill Methodist Church by the Rev. Perry Stewart. Mary Louise is the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth McWhorter Sr. Thomas is the son of the late Floyd and Mary Norris. He is a retired school bus driver for Marshall County Schools. They are the parents of two children: Lori Ann Beyser and her husband, Alan; and Thomas Norris Jr. and his wife, Linda. Spurlocks Celebrate 55th

David and Joyce Spurlock of Wheeling celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, March 30. They were united in marriage on March 30, 1966. Joyce is the former Joyce Steinmetz of Lancaster, Ohio. She is a retired registered nurse. David is a retired account manager for Tusco Grocers Inc. of Dennison, Ohio. They are the parents of four children. The family includes Dr. David R. Spurlock Jr. of Pittsburgh; Dawn Holstein of South Charleston, W.Va.; Dean Spurlock of Nashville, Tenn.; and Daniel Spurlock of Bridgeport. They have seven grandchildren.

Kemps Celebrate 50th

Tim and Linda Kemp of Bethesda, Ohio, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Feb. 14. They were united in marriage on Feb. 14, 1971, St. Valentine’s Day, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Bethesda, Ohio, by the late Pastor Garry Ballard. It is with much happiness and gratitude that Dolores and William Lestini are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. Dolores Ann Vannelle and William were united in marriage on Nov. 26, 1955 at St. John Church in Bellaire, Ohio. William is a retired pharmacist and they presently live in Wheeling. They are the parents of three children, Dr. William F. (Stephanie) of Raleigh, North Carolina, Alan (Paula) of Wheeling and Natalie of Westerville, Ohio. They have four grandchildren, Shanley, Lysandra, Kyle and Nathan.

Ingrams Celebrate 60 Years

Jenny Rejonis and Albert Ingram were married Nov. 26, 1960, by the Rev. Henry Hopkins at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Moundsville. Albert retired in 1998 from Bayer Chemical after 38 years of service. Jenny worked at Fostoria Glass and is a homemaker. The Ingrams are the parents of two sons, Carl and Alan, who live in South Carolina with their families. They also have five grandchildren. An anniversary celebration will be held at a later date.
