They were united in marriage March 30, 1968, at Big Run Christian Church with Dr. Andrew Laney officiating. Sandy Cumpston is retired from Marshall County Schools. Keith Cumpston is retired from International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Union Local 667 and Columbia Gas. He is employed by Pipeliners Union Local 798 of Tulsa, Okla. They are the parents of a daughter, Shan, of Cameron, and a son, Dr. Billy Cumpston (deceased).
