Mary Ann and Lewis “Lew” Newman IV will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. They were united in marriage on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, 1957, at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Triadelphia by the Rev. John Paulin. Mary Ann Newman is the daughter of the late Ceil and Dutch Frohnapfel. She is a retired, self-employed beautician. Lew Newman is the son of the late Betty and Lew Newman III. Leonards Mark 60th Year

Dick and Nancy Leonard of Elm Grove, Wheeling, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday. They were united in marriage Nov. 23, 1957, at St. Joseph Cathedral in Wheeling by the Rev. Bernard Schmitt. Nancy Leonard is a homemaker. Dick Leonard was employed at Blaw Knox for 40 years. They have five children. The family includes Mike (Chris), Mark (Kim), Tim (Heather), Linda (John) Agostinelli and Tom, deceased. Seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren complete the family.
