Carls Mark 60 Years

Bob and Doty Carl of Bethlehem celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday. They were united in marriage on Aug. 24, 1957, at the former Zion Lutheran Church in Wheeling by the late Rev. William M. Erhard. Bob Carl is the son of the late Joseph G. and Laura Carl. He is retired from H.E. Neumann. Doty Carl is the daughter of the late Wilbur and Jean Hawkins. She is retired from the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 83 Credit Union. They are the parents of four children. Rines Celebrate 60 Years

Dick and Pat Rine celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday. They were united in marriage Aug. 24, 1957, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling. They are the parents of two children, Karen (Paul) Litvak and Cindy (Alan) Wade, and have two grandsons. They are recently retired after 30 years as owners of Pat’s Hallmark, Wheeling. They are celebrating their anniversary today with a Mass at 9 a.m. at St. Michael’s followed by a brunch for family and close friends at Wilson Lodge, Oglebay Park.

Gribbens Celebrate 60th

Joan Marie (Wolf) and Lawrence Joseph Gribben of Triadelphia celebrated their 60th anniversary on Thursday. They were united in marriage at Blessed Trinity Church on Wheeling Island on Aug. 24, 1957. They raised five children and have six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. They renewed their vows at both their silver and golden anniversaries, and will celebrate their diamond anniversary with a private family dinner at home.

Richard “Dick” and Jacqueline “Jackie” Morris Baker of Bethlehem will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Wednesday. They were united in marriage on Aug. 30, 1947, at the home of their minister, the Rev. Knoll of St. Paul’s Church in Wheeling. Jackie Baker is the daughter of the late Stanley and Gwendolyn Morris.
