Louis and Shirley Zimmerman, formerly of Wheeling, now of Calabash, N.C., celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Saturday. They were united in marriage on July 1, 1972, at Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church in Wheeling by the Rev. G. Kenneth Gates. Shirley Zimmerman is the daughter of the late Donald C. and Florence Bixler Jefferys of New Philadelphia, Ohio. Louis Zimmerman is the son of the late Chester C. and Katherine Klieves Zimmerman of Wheeling.
