Larry and Janie Williams celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday. They were united in marriage June 3, 1967, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Wheeling with the Rev. Thomas Schiffer officiating. Janie Williams is the daughter of the late Walter and Marager Delbrugge of Wheeling. Larry Williams is the son of the late Paul and Catherine Williams of Wheeling. Bill and Carol Storm of Glen Dale will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on June 18. They were united in marriage on June 18, 1977. Bill Storm is retired from Marshall County Schools. He began teaching and coaching at Moundsville Junior High, then moved to Union Junior High. He completed his career at John Marshall High School as a teacher and the John Marshall boys’ basketball coach. Carol Storm began her nursing career at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Arlene and Gary Perigo of Glen Dale are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today. They were married on May 28, 1967, at the First Christian Church in Evansville, Ind. They have two children: Beth (Steve) Pavlick and Scott (Sara) Perigo, all of Pittsburgh. Six grandchildren complete the family. A trip to Niagara Falls is being planned to mark the occasion.
