Porters Celebrate 60th

Jim and Judi Porter of Wheeling celebrated their 60th anniversary on Thursday, Sept. 24.They were united in marriage on Sept. 24, 1955, at Fourth Street United Methodist Church in Wheeling.Judi Porter is the daughter of the late Meta Godfrey. She is a homemaker.Jim Porter is the son of the late Charles and Marie Porter. He is retired from Kroger Co.The couple has four children. The family includes James Jr. of Wheeling; Timothy and his wife, Calleen, of St. Clairsville; Kimberly of Wheeling; and Gregory and his wife, Paula, of Wheeling. They have five grandchildren.

Williamsons Mark 65th

Lewis and Wanda Williamson of Sardis will celebrate their 65th anniversary on Wednesday, Sept. 16.They were united in marriage on Sept. 16, 1950.Lewis Williamson is a graduate of Sardis High School and is retired from Conalco Aluminum.Wanda Williams on was a stay-at-home mother to five children and received a high school diploma in 1969 from River High School, the same school her children attended.The family includes Michael (deceased), Elaine, David and Mark, all of Sardis, and Larry of Middlebourne. Joe and Connie Kuntz of Wheeling recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.They were married on Aug. 7, 1965, at St Joseph's Cathedral in Wheeling.Both were born and raised in Wheeling and attended Wheeling Central Catholic High School.Connie Kuntz is a retired sales associate and enjoys many craft projects.Joe Kuntz is a retired electrician and a U.S. Army veteran.The couple has three children, two grandchildren, a son-in-law and a daughter-in law.
