Robert and Esther Hall of Wheeling will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 16.They were united in marriage Aug. 16, 1975 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Wheeling, by the late Msgr. John McNulty.Esther Hall is employed by Valley Hospice as a nurse's aide at Liza's Place in Wheeling.Robert Hall is employed as a kitchen specialist at Wheeling Distribution Center.They are the parents of two daughters. Terry and Christine McDonald will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Aug. 11.They were united in marriage on Aug. 11, 1990, at St. Francis Xavier Church in Moundsville by the Rev. Joseph Glancy, T.O.R. and the Rev. Albert Driesch, T.O.R.Christine McDonald is retired from Marshall County Schools having taught for 33 years.Terry MDonald also retired from Marshall County Schools after having been employed 22 years in the service personnel department.They are the parents of a son, Christian McDonald, of Moundsville.

Dr. Wilfredo and Martha Tiu celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 19.They were united in marriage June 19, 1965 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Pittsburgh by the Rev. Edward Hennessey.Martha Tiu was born on the South Side of Pittsburgh.
