Zieglers Reach 65 Years

Ed and Fran Ziegler of Wheeling will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, June 17.They were united in marriage on June 17, 1950 at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church by the late Rev. J. Moulton Thomas.Ed Ziegler is the son of the late Frank and Edna Ziegler. He is retired from Conalco.Fran Ziegler is the daughter of the late Frank and Beulah Wilkinson. She is a homemaker.They have one son, Gary, of Wheeling. Two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren complete the family.

Elmer and Margie Brown of St. Clairsville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, June 12. They were united in marriage on June 12, 1965 in Powhatan Point.Margie Brown is the daughter of the late Art and Clare Nelms of Powhatan Point.Elmer Brown is the son of the late Charles and Edna Brown of Powhatan. He is retired from the Ohio Valley Coal Co.They are the parents of two children, Dave (Jennifer) of Powhatan and Diane (David) Amend of Elm Grove, Wheeling. Ross and Sharon Parsons are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today, June 14.They were united in marriage on June 14, 1975 at the Elm Grove United Methodist Church, Wheeling.They are the parents of four children.The family includes Burke(Kelly) Nickerson, Ross (Jenny) Parsons, Elizabeth (John) Guzek and Anthony (Sarah) Parsons.They have 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.The family celebrated with a picnic.
