Beecrofts Mark 50 Years

Steve and Jamesie Beecroft of Kentwood, Mich., formerly of Wheeling, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 26.They were united in marriage on Dec. 26, 1964 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph by Monsignor Joseph J. Wanstreet.They are the parents of Camille (Mark) Mann of Grand Rapids, Mich.; Steve (Stephanie) Beecroft of Bolivia, N.C., and Chris Beecroft of Wheeling.They have four grandchildren.A family celebration is being held in Bolivia, N.C., this Christmas season.

40 Years for Johnstons

David and Diana Johnston of Bethlehem will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary today, Dec. 21.They were united in marriage on Dec. 21, 1974 at Hillview Terrace Church of Christ in Moundsville by Evangelist Donald Cooper.Diana Johnston is the daughter of the late W.G. "Bo" Brown and Helen Brown.David Johnston is the son of the late William "Bob" and the late Mildred "Midge" Johnston.They have two children. The family includes daughter Megan and son Ryan and his wife, Jaime, all of Moundsville. They have five grandchildren.

Jacksons Celebrate 50th

George "Bob" and Dawn Knight Jackson of Powhatan Point will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 27.They were married in the First Methodist Church of Bellaire by the Rev. George Bailey.Bob Jackson is a retired supervisor at Comcast.They are the parents of three sons: George "Bob" II (Vicki) of Shadyside, Kevin (Kelly) of Cambridge and Chris (Alicia) of Powhatan Point. They have five grandchildren.A family celebration will be held in their honor.

McKimmies Mark 65th

Richard H. "Dick" and Bernice M. McKimmie of Moundsville celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Dec. 17.Bernice McKimmie is retired from Marshall County Schools.Dick McKimmie is retired from Triangle Conduit & Cable Co.The couple has three daughters. The family includes Barbara (Jay) Bettinazzi of Glen Dale; Bonnie (Garee) Earnest of Johnstown, Ohio and Carol (Jim) Hilton of Orient, Ohio. They have nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Bartletts Honor 60th

Robert "Bob" Bartlett and Dorothy Hoyt Bartlett of McMechen celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Dec. 4.They were united in marriage at Trinity Lutheran Church in South Wheeling on Dec. 4, 1954, where they renewed their vows on their 50th wedding anniversary in 2004. They are active members of Trinity.Bob Bartlett served four years in the U.S. Air Force; he was stationed in Alaska for three years following basic training and school. Malsons Celebrate 65th

Robert and Janis Malson of Moundsville celebrated their 65th anniversary on Tuesday, Dec. 2.They were united in marriage in the parsonage of the First Christian Church in Moundsville on Dec. 2, 1949.Bob Malson is retired from Allied-Hanlin Chemical Co. Janis Malson is a homemaker.They are the parents of two children, Kerry L., deceased, and Janet Alderman of Moundsville. Two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter complete the family.The couple celebrated with a family brunch at Oglebay Resort, Wheeling.
