Marshalls Reach 50th

Barbara Sidiropolis Marshall and Ronald Marshall of St. Clairsville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.The couple was married at St. John's Catholic Church in Benwood on June 27, 1964.Ronald Marshall is retired from Bayer Corp.A surprise party took place on June 14, hosted by their daughter, Joanna Hockenberger and her husband, Brian, at Belmont Hills Country Club in St. Clairsville.

Harold and Linda Coast of Wheeling celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Dec. 4.They were united in marriage on Dec. 5, 1964 at Warwood United Methodist Church by the Rev. John Q. Crossleys Reach 50th

Charles "Sonny" Crossley and Bessie McMillan Crossley will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Nov. 27.They were united in marriage at Wellsburg Methodist Church on Nov. 27, 1964.Sonny Crossley retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, and Bessie Crossley retired from Weirton Steel.They are the parents of Douglas Crossley, deceased; Leslie (David) Clark of Morgantown; and Amy (Rando) Parna of Newport, Ky. They have two grandchildren.They celebrated their 50 years together with a family vacation to the island of Aruba in June and a family dinner this month in Pittsburgh.

Arrond and Margaret Scott of Shadyside will celebrate their 56th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 29.They were united in marriage Nov. 29, 1958 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, by Msgr. Kloss.Margie Scott is the daughter of the late Foster and Marge Johnson of Bridgeport. Couple Marks 74 Years

Raymond F. "Huggy Bear" and Maize Leota Huggins of Moundsville marked their 74th wedding anniversary on Oct. 10.They were married in Wetzel County on Oct. 10, 1940.Raymond Huggins served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from Fostoria Glass and then worked as a guard at West Virginia Penitentiary. He is an avid sports fan, especially football at John Marshall High School and West Virginia University and the Cleveland Indians.The couple has two sons, Roger (Kathy) and Jimmy, deceased, and daughter-in-law, Chris. They have nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
