Resczynski Reaches 90th

Blanche Resczynski of Benwood celebrated her 90th birthday on Saturday, Nov. 15.She was born Nov. 15, 1924, daughter of the late John and Josephine Latka of Benwood. She was married to the late Chester Resczynski for 54 years.She is a lifelong resident of Benwood and has served as a volunteer with the American Red Cross and Meals on Wheels. She attended St. Ladislaus Catholic Church until its closing and now attends St. Alphonsus in Wheeling.Resczynski has three children. Ron and Susan McCoy of New Martinsville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Monday, Nov. 17.They were united in marriage on Nov. 17, 1964 in Wheeling.Ron McCoy is the son of the late Ted and Betty McCoy. He is retired from Bayer Corp.Susan McCoy is the daughter of the late Frank and Nellie Underwood. She is a homemaker.They are members of the Bridge Street Church of Christ in New Martinsville.The couple has two children.
