Laurie Gaston Dankovchik and Dan Dankovchik of Weirton announce the engagement of their daughter, Alexis Danielle Dankovchik, to Nicholas Russell Laibach, son of Russell and Leslie Laibach of Weirton.
Dankovchik is a 2007 graduate of Weir High School and a 2011 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She is employed at Weirton Medical Center as a registered nurse in pediatrics.
Laibach is a 2006 graduate of Weir High School and a 2009 graduate of Pittsburgh Technical Institute with an associate degree in computerized drafting. He is employed at Ytech Inc., Donora, Pa., as a CAD operator.
An Oct. 10 wedding is planned at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Weirton.
