Missy Dunlap Shepard of McMechen announces the engagement of her daughter, Megan Michele Shepard, to Matthew Allen Grewell, son of Jeffrey and Lesia Grewell of Parkersburg.
Shepard is a 2005 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2010 graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She will attend Excela School of Anesthesia in Latrobe, Pa., in August. She is a registered nurse in the medical-surgical intensive care unit at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Grewell is a 2005 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2012 graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with concentrations in agriculture and resource economics, fisheries and wildlife management and communication studies. He is an agent for American Income Life.
An April wedding is planned.
