Ronnie and Karen Clark of Shadyside announce the engagement of their daughter, Kari Ann Clark, to Scott Allen Covey, son of Randy and Janet Hasley of Marietta.
Clark is a 2002 graduate of Shadyside High School. She earned an Associate in Applied Science in surgical technology from West Virginia Northern Community College in 2008. She is employed as a certified surgical technologist at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Covey is a 2000 graduate of Marietta High School. He is employed as an operator at Shelly Materials Inc.
A June wedding is planned in Marietta.
