John and Linda Vargo of Wellsburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Heidi Jo Vargo, to Anthony Cecchini, son of Lee and Melanie Cecchini of Wellsburg.
Vargo is a 2004 graduate of Brooke High School and a 2009 summa cum laude graduate of West Virginia University with a master’s degree in elementary education. She is a kindergarten teacher at James K. Polk Elementary School in Alexandria, Va.
Cecchini is a 2003 graduate of Brooke High School and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. He works at Scott A. Garvey State Farm Insurance and Financial Services in Baltimore, Md.
An August wedding is planned at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wellsburg.
