Doug and Mona Duvall of Sardis are please to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica Lynn Duvall, to Joshua David Kernik, son of David and Jolynn Kernik of Powhatan Point.
Duvall is a 2011 graduate of River High School and a 2015 graduate of West Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. She is employed in the dental practice of Dr. Zacari Chrisagis as a dental assistant.
Kernik is a 2011 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2015 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. He is employed at Bellaire City Schools.
An Oct. 10 wedding is planned.
