Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Swoger of Wheeling and Mr. and Mrs. John Bonar of McMechen announce the engagement of their children, Sarah Lynn Swoger and Robert “Robbie” Norman Bonar.
Swoger is a 2007 graduate of John Marshall High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in speech pathology and audiology as well as a Master of Science degree in speech pathology, both from West Virginia University. She is employed by Marshall County Schools as a speech language pathologist.
Bonar is also a 2007 graduate of John Marshall High School. He attended West Liberty University, graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a Master of Science degree in sports studies. He is employed by USI Insurance Services LLC and is an assistant women’s basketball coach at West Liberty University.
A Sept. 26 wedding is planned.
