Jones is the son of Nancy Diserio Jones and Michael L. Jones of Charleston, S.C. He is the grandson of Alfred Diserio of Wellsburg and the late Helen Frohnapfel Diserio.
Schirmer is a 2013 graduate of the College of Charleston. She owns Top Call Therapy.
Jones is a 2012 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in civil engineering. He is employed with Infrastructure Consulting and Engineers of Charleston as a roadway designer.
