Jessica Jean Corder and Joshua Michael Davis were united in marriage in Sept. 1, 2018 at the First Christian Church in Wheeling with the Rev. Kenneth Hardway officiating the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Pamela Young Corder of Wheeling and Steven L. Corder of Wheeling. The groom is the son of Greg and Janice Ross of Wheeling. Grandparents of the bride are Lynn and Jean Corder of Bridgeport, West Virginia and the late Alan and Anne Young of Wheeling. Grandparents of the groom are Bill and Nancy Snyder of Wheeling.
Michelle Corder, sister of the bride served as maid of honor. Zachary Dean, friend of the groom, served as best man.
Other attendants included Julie Ann Davis, sister of the groom; Amanda Bridges, cousin of the bride; Lindsey Harden; Haygen Mowder; Brittany Schumacher; Steven Corder II, brother of the bride; L. K. Bradford; Ryan Holmes; Scott Doyle; and Matt Postlewait.
Flower girls were Carysn Bridges and Harper Jones, nieces of the bride. The ring bearer was Ross Michael Davis, son of the bride and groom.
A reception was held at the Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack Ballroom.
The bride is a graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from West Liberty University. She is employed as a certified school nurse at McNinch Elementary School in Moundsville, and as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Washington Hospital in Washington, Pennsylvania.
The groom is a graduate of Wheeling Park High School and is pursuing his degree in nursing at West Virginia Northern Community College in Wheeling.
The couple resides in Wheeling.
