Gary and Jenni Elias of Wheeling announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer G. Elias to Forrest D. Merryman, son of Brett and Nancy Merryman of Bellaire.

Elias is a 2009 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School, a 2013 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a bachelor’s degree in business management and a 2015 graduate of WJU with a master’s degree in business administration. She is employed as the manager of UNIGLOBE Ohio Valley Travel in Wheeling.

Her fiance is a 2008 graduate of Bellaire High School, and a 2012 graduate of Ohio University Eastern with a degree in education. He earned his master’s degree in education from Franciscan University in 2019. He is employed as a math teacher at Bellaire High School.

They will be married on Aug. 1.
