Artworks Around Town Re-Opening Soon

WHEELING– After almost a two-month closure due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic restrictions, Artworks Around Town is pleased to announce it will open on Monday, May 18. Located in Wheeling’s Historic Centre Market, the art gallery has been shuttered in order to protect the health and wellbeing of its members and guests.

Limited hours of operation will be in effect at first Opening will be at 10 a.m. and closing will be at 4 p.m. until June 1, when the gallery will return to closing at 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 6 p.m. on Fridays.

Member artists will greet you with smiling eyes and masks for a while. Guest artist exhibits, receptions and Gallery hops as well as classes will be suspended for the foreseeable future, but will continue as soon as deemed safe to do so.

Visit the gallery soon to celebrate the artists (who have missed you) and their amazing work, some of it done during the quarantine. Artworks Around Town is a gallery dedicated to promoting local artists and community educational programs.
