Lunch With Books Offers Adventures in Restoration

Photo Provided The former Fort Henry Club building at 14th and Chapline street in Wheeling is being restored to its former beauty thanks to Adventures in Elegance restoration experts.

WHEELING — Join Sarel Venter and Bekah Karelis while they explore some of the tools and techniques used in their workshop at the Ohio County Public Library’s online Lunch With Books program set for noon Tuesday, July 28.

As owners of a restoration contracting company, Adventures in Elegance, Venter and Karelis are completing a big project — the Fort Henry Club Porch restoration, and you will join them as they talk about their work and demonstrate how they make rubber molds of architectural details, cast concrete replications, and cut and dress sandstone.

Their workshop is a magical place and you are invited to come join in the magic!

This program will be available to watch live on the Adventures in Elegance Facebook page, YouTube channel, and on the Ohio County Public Library’s website’s LWB Livestream page.

Adventures in Elegance is a general contracting company with extensive experience in the restoration field. The company specializes in plaster, stucco, terra cotta and masonry, and does a wide range of work on both old and new buildings.
