Tie dye and pumpkin painting workshops are offered Oct. 17, 24 and 31 at the outdoor courtyard at Wilson Lodge in Oglebay Park.

Eastern Star Chapter to Meet on Tuesday

Miriam Chapter No. 1, Order of the Eastern Star, will hold its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20 at the Shrine Center, Monument Place, Elm Grove.

October birthdays will be celebrated. All members are asked to bring microwavable macaroni and cheese cups for the Backpack Project.

All COVID-19 virus protocols will be followed including wearing masks.

Carolyn Nortemann, Worthy Matron, and Jim Shannon, Worthy Patron, will preside.

Lions Club to Host Spaghetti Dinner

The Mount Olivet Lions Club will hold a car-side pickup spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Mt. Olivet Methodist Church. Call 304-242-0746 to place orders.

St C. Chamber Sets Adult Halloween Bash

The St. Clairsville Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Halloween Bash Adult Sidewalk Party from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30 starting at the chamber office, 117 E. Main St.

Enjoy tricks and treats at each participating business. Get your Halloween Bash map at the chamber office. Events will be sidewalk Style so that social distancing may be observed.

Admission price: a can of food to be given to the homeless shelter.

Harvest Teas Planned

The Eckhart House at 810 Main St., Wheeling, will host Harvest Teas on Saturday, Oct. 24. Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be two seatings, a light luncheon at 11:30 a.m. and afternoon tea at 3 p.m. Please call for reservations at 304-232-5439.
