Snag a Bag Event Benefits Wheeling Symphony

WHEELING — Do you have an old bag in your house? If so, this is an exciting event for you. The Wheeling Symphony Auxiliary is hosting on Friday, March 26, the “Snag a Bag” auction from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at the Wheeling Park White Palace

More than 30 new and gently used designer bags, featuring brands such as Vera Bradley, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Clark, Dooney & Bourke and more will be auctioned in both live and silent auctions. In addition to new bags, an array of purses includes bonus items, such as gift certificates to local businesses, jewelry, accessories or themed items. Attendees will have a chance to bid on one-of-a-kind theme bags including, summer beach party, fitness, yoga, back-to-school, wine lovers, party in a purse, Steelers bags, Oglebay Institute summer camp adventure, pampered pet, and many more.

Raffle tickets are being sold for an opportunity to win a beautiful Tory Burch bag valued at $348. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25. Winner does not have to be present at the Snag a Bag event.

Admission tickets are $15 each and may be purchased by calling the Wheeling Symphony Office at 304-232-6191, from Symphony Auxiliary members or at the door. Included in the admission price is hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and soft drinks.
