WHEELING – The Ohio County Public Library will celebrate the life of a longtime patron and a great and loyal friend of the Lunch With Books program, Dr. Hossein Yassini-Fard, from 5:30-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 30.

“Doc” has been visiting the library and attending programs for many years. He always remembered greeted everyone with a soft-spoken “hello” or “good morning” before getting his coffee. Library staff will remember him with great fondness. Attendees can join in this celebration of a life well lived and say a fond farewell to “Doc.”

There will be speakers as well as sandwiches and light refreshments prepared by Midge’s Kitchen, courtesy Doc’s family.
