Thursday Music Club Hosts Annual Young Musician’s Auditions Recital

WHEELING – The 73rd Annual Young Musician’s Auditions Recital 2026, sponsored by the Thursday Music Club of Wheeling, was held at Vance Memorial Church, 905 National Road, Wheeling, on Sunday, March 29.
The auditions were for both piano and vocal students. The honors recital featured students who received a Superior or Superior with Honors.
The judges for the event were Dr. Hsing-Yi Rose, piano and Mrs. Leslie Garrett, vocal.
Next year’s dates for the Young Musicians Auditions will be March 12-13, 2027 and the Honors Recital to be held on Sunday March 21, 2027, at 2 p.m., at Vance Presbyterian Church in Wheeling. The president of the Thursday Music Club of Wheeling, Suzanne McCormick, encourages all area music students and teachers to save the dates and participate in our 74th Annual event.
