Kelly Cup Playoffs: Wheeling Nailers vs. Maine Mariners – 7:10 p.m. Saturday at WesBanco Arena. The Wheeling Nailers host Game 2 of the second round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Tickets are on sale now.

Wheeling Food Truck Festival – 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday at Wheeling Heritage Port. More than 20 food trucks, retail vendors, live entertainment and a mental health resource fair will be featured during the annual event benefiting NAMI in West Virginia.

Stairs for Strides 5K – 9 a.m. Saturday at Wheeling Heritage Port. Participants will tackle a 5K course featuring the “Stairway to Heaven” staircase in East Wheeling. Awards, sweatbands and finisher coins will be presented.

Wheeling Farmers’ Market Mother’s Day Pop-Up – 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at St. Michael Parish. Shop local vendors and Mother’s Day gifts during the special holiday-themed market pop-up.

Pepperoni Roll Festival – 10 a.m. Saturday at Wheeling Park. Celebrate West Virginia’s iconic snack with live music, a pepperoni roll cook-off, eating contest, cooking demonstrations, vendors and family activities throughout the day.

Family Story Time – 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at Ohio County Public Library. Families and children of all ages are invited to enjoy stories, songs and crafts during this interactive 30-minute program in the library’s Children’s Area. Free admission.

Saturday Science Demonstrations – 1 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at SMART Centre Market. Free science demonstrations open to all ages and the public will be held at SMART Centre Market. Free admission.
