Library Celebrates ‘Bloomsday’ on Tuesday
WHEELING – The Ohio County Public Library’s next Lunch With Books program will mark its third annual “Bloomsday,” a celebration of the novel “Ulysses,” the character Leopold Bloom and all things related to Irish author, James Joyce.
The “Lunch With Bloom” program will take place at noon on Tuesday, June 16, at the library in downtown Wheeling.
Attendees are encouraged to wear period dress (1904-ish) or to dress like a character from any of Joyce’s books. There will be prizes for best dressed, and Midge’s Hotdog cart will be parked just outside.
