FAMILY STORY TIME OFFERED — The Ohio County Public Library, 52 16th St., Wheeling, will host Family Story Time at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13. The 30-minute program includes stories, songs and crafts for children and families. Admission is free.

SECRET KITCHENS TOUR RETURNS — Oglebay Institute’s Mansion Museum, 465 Lodge Drive, Wheeling, will host its Secret Kitchens of Wheeling Tour and Gourmet Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 13. The self-guided tour features some of the area’s most distinctive kitchens and includes an outdoor vendor market. Tour tickets are $22 in advance and $25 the day of the event. The vendor market is free.

CENTRE MARKET WINGFEST PLANNED — Centre Market, 2200 Market St., Wheeling, will host WingFest from noon to 8 p.m. June 13. The event will feature a wing contest, entertainment, food, beverages and family activities. Proceeds benefit Wheeling Health Right and the Centre Market Fund.

PRIDE ON THE PLAZA RETURNS — Wheeling Heritage Port, 1201 Water St., Wheeling, will host Pride on the Plaza from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. June 13. The family-friendly event will feature live entertainment, food trucks, art installations and a vendor market celebrating LGBTQ+ pride and community. Admission is free.

AUTHOR, BOOKSTORE PROGRAM PLANNED — The Ohio County Public Library, 52 16th St., Wheeling, will host “Unearthing a Page – Turning Treasure in the Steel City” from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. June 13. The program will highlight Pittsburgh’s City of Asylum bookstore and feature discussions with writers in residence from Sudan and Ukraine. Admission is free.

LIVE MUSIC SERIES CONTINUES — Centre Market, 2200 Market St., Wheeling, will continue its Saturdays at the Market series from noon to 2 p.m. June 13. Visitors can enjoy lunch from market vendors while listening to live music in the courtyard. Admission is free.

RUSH TRIBUTE BAND TO PERFORM — The Rush Experience will perform at 8 p.m. June 13 in The Showroom at Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack. Doors open at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $25. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.

COOKING DEMONSTRATIONS OFFERED — Oglebay Park Resort’s Skyline Kitchen & Bar, 465 Lodge Drive, Wheeling, will host its Stars, Stripes & Sizzle cooking demonstration at 3 p.m. June 13. The weekly program features chef-inspired takes on classic American summer dishes.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL TO BEGIN — First Baptist Church Wheeling, 1470 National Road, will host its “Emerald Crossing” Vacation Bible School June 14-18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each evening. The free program includes games, music, crafts and faith-based activities for children.

ARTS & CULTURE

AMERICA 250 GLASS EXHIBIT OPENS — Oglebay Institute’s Glass Museum, 465 Lodge Drive, Wheeling, will open its America 250 Glass Show on June 14. The exhibit celebrates American glassmaking and features historic glass pieces and artifacts connected to the nation’s history. The exhibition will remain on display through Jan. 3, 2027.

FLASHBACK CINEMA SERIES CONTINUES — Marquee Cinemas, 150 Sims Circle, Triadelphia, will continue its Flashback Cinema series June 14 with classic films shown on the big screen. Showtimes vary.

SUNDAY FUNDAY CONCERT SERIES RETURNS — Oglebay Park Resort, 465 Lodge Drive, Wheeling, will host a free Sunday Funday concert at 7 p.m. June 14. The weekly summer series includes live music, children’s activities, concessions and an ice cream sundae bar.

BARBECUE SPECIAL FEATURED AT OGLEBAY — Skyline Kitchen & Bar at Oglebay Park Resort will offer its All-American BBQ Sunday special from noon to 5 p.m. June 14. The meal includes a half rack of ribs with baked beans, cole slaw, cornbread and honey butter. Cost is $29.
