FIRST FRIDAY GALLERY HOP CONTINUES AT ARTWORKS AROUND TOWN -- Artworks Around Town will host its First Friday Gallery Hop from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday through Dec. 4 at 2200 Market St., Wheeling. The free event features rotating art exhibits and community art displays.

PEPSI SUMMER CONCERT SERIES FEATURES THE TREUMAN SHOW AND ANANGA MARTIN -- The Pepsi Summer Concert Series will continue from 6-10:30 p.m. Friday at the WesBanco Arena Patio. The free event features live music, food vendors and a downtown patio atmosphere.

FRIDAYS AT ROUTE 88 OFFER LIVE MUSIC AND FIREPIT VIBES -- Oglebay Park Resort's Route 88 Burgers & Brew will host weekly "Fridays by the Fire" from 6-9 p.m. through Aug. 14 featuring live music, food and firepit seating.

SALUTE TO PATRIOTISM WEEKEND BEGINS AT OGLEBAY -- Oglebay Park Resort will kick off its "Salute to Patriotism" celebration Friday through Sunday with poolside activities, live entertainment and a fireworks finale presented by Community Bank and the Schenk Charitable Trust.

INDEPENDENCE DAY FUN FESTIVAL SET AT WHEELING ISLAND -- Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack will host its Independence Day Fun Festival from 3-10 p.m. Friday in the parking lot. The free event includes live music, carnival rides, food trucks, games and fireworks.

WEEKLY WINE TASTING CONTINUES AT CASA DI VINO -- Casa di Vino will host its weekly wine tasting from 5-8 p.m. Friday at 2269 Market St., Wheeling. Admission is $10.

SENSORY STORY TIME OFFERED AT OHIO COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY -- Ohio County Public Library will host Sensory Story Time at 10:30 a.m. Friday at 52 16th St., Wheeling. The free program includes books, songs and interactive activities designed for children of all abilities.

SCALE-CRAFT PROGRAM CONTINUES AT SCHRADER CENTER -- Oglebay Institute's Schrader Environmental Education Center will host "Scale-Craft" at 1 p.m. Friday through Aug. 7 at 465 Lodge Dr., Wheeling. The $8 program allows participants to create crafts using natural materials.

RED, WHITE & ZOO CONTINUES AT OGLEBAY GOOD ZOO -- Oglebay Good Zoo will host "Red, White & Zoo" Friday from noon-2 p.m. through July 31 featuring animal enrichment activities, crafts and educational programs.

WHEELING PARK CELEBRATES AMERICA 250 WITH THREE-DAY POOL PARTIES AND DISCOUNTED ACTIVITIES -- Wheeling Park will host its "Celebrate America 250" weekend Friday through Sunday with discounted $2.50 admission on boating, mini golf, roller skating and pool access, along with $10 all-day activity wristbands. Daily pool parties will be held from 1-5 p.m. each day featuring a live DJ, along with additional family activities throughout the park.

FIRECRACKER 5K FUN RUN SET AT OGLEBAY -- Oglebay Park Resort will host the Firecracker 5K Fun Run at 10 a.m. Saturday at 465 Lodge Dr., Wheeling. The event encourages patriotic costumes and participation from runners and walkers.

WHEELING FARMERS' MARKET CONTINUES WEEKLY -- The Wheeling Farmers' Market will be held from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday at St. Michael's Parish Church parking lot, 1225 National Road. The market features local vendors and fresh produce.

CELEBRATE AMERICA CONCERT AND FIREWORKS SET AT HERITAGE PORT -- The Wheeling Symphony Orchestra will present its annual Celebrate America concert at 8 p.m. Saturday at Wheeling Heritage Port, followed by fireworks. The free event includes patriotic music, food trucks and a beer tent.

INDEPENDENCE DAY COMMEMORATIVE CONCERT PLANNED AT ST. MATTHEW'S -- St. Matthew's Episcopal Church will host an Independence Day Commemorative Concert at 11 a.m. Saturday at 1410 Chapline St., Wheeling. The event is open to the community.

DJ REIGN TO HEADLINE SILVER RAIL AFTER PARTY -- Silver Rail Bar & Grill will host DJ Reign at 10 p.m. Saturday for its Freedom 250 Cookout After Party at 222 29th St., Wheeling. The event includes music, food and entertainment.

WHEELING CARS AND COFFEE CONTINUES MONTHLY -- Wheeling Cars and Coffee will be held from 9 a.m.-noon Sunday at Wheeling Park Café 1925, 1801 National Road, continuing the monthly automotive meet-up series through October.

AMERICA'S 250TH BIRTHDAY FIREWORKS SET AT THE HIGHLANDS -- The Ohio County Commission will host a fireworks celebration Sunday at dusk at The Highlands in Triadelphia. The free event honors America's 250th birthday with family activities and entertainment.

AMERICA 250 BBQ AND ACTIVITIES PLANNED AT HIGHLANDS SPORTS COMPLEX -- Highlands Sports Complex will host an America 250 celebration Sunday from noon-5 p.m. featuring an all-you-can-eat BBQ, discounted activities and family programming.

ALL-AMERICAN BBQ SUNDAYS CONTINUE AT OGLEBAY -- Skyline Kitchen & Bar will continue its All-American BBQ Sundays from noon-5 p.m. through Sept. 6 featuring ribs and classic barbecue fare.
