NEW MARTINSVILLE - ArtsLink Inc., the arts council for Wetzel and Tyler counties, will thank its members with a birthday celebration reception Monday, Sept. 1, at the Francis Creative Arts Center in New Martinsville.
Join us to celebrate our nation's 250th birthday, as well at the 25th anniversary of ArtsLink. Founded on July 21, 2001, ArtsLink has been providing high-quality concerts, exhibits, classes and children's theater activities for the last 25 years.
The annual membership reception will begin at 5 p.m. and will bid a fond farewell to summer. A varied dinner menu will be served, including homemade pepperoni rolls, deviled eggs, cheesy potatoes, and a selection of seasonal salads.
"Join us in wearing your favorite patriotic garb," said Scarlet Hood, ArtsLink president. "We welcome all current ArtsLink members as well as anyone interested in joining or who may want to see what we have to offer."
Memberships will be available at the door.
Plan to stay after dinner for the Coffeehouse finale featuring Shortline Junction at 6:30 p.m.
The center is located at the corner of Maple Avenue and Washington Streets.
