New Good Zoo Director to Visit Newcomers Club

WHEELING - The Newcomers Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, at Generations Restaurant, 338 National Road, Wheeling.

The guest speaker for August will be Amy Rutherford, the new director of Oglebay Good Zoo. Rutherford will discuss plans for the zoo, including the new Gary E. West Pridelands habitat and lodging.

Any woman new or returning to the area is welcome to join the group for its monthly luncheon. Anyone interested in attending should call Jan at 304-280-4270 by the Monday before the meeting.
