WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington Italian Festival is celebrating 10 years of bringing the community together.
To mark a decade of food, music, culture and community spirit, the 2026 festival will feature an exciting lineup and memorable experiences for attendees of all ages.
This year's festival will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Community Pavilion, 139 S. Main St. in downtown Washington, Pa. Admission for the festival is free.
Before the festival, a kick-off concert will be held on Friday, Sept. 25, featuring Shades of Time. The concert will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Community Pavilion and is open to the public.
Full festivities kick off at noon on Saturday, Sept. 26, when guests can enjoy Italian music, learn about Italian culture, shop for merchandise from a great selection of local vendors and enjoy delectable Italian food and beverages. Culinary specialties will be offered by Santello's, Bella's on Fort Couch, Chicco Baccello, Forlini's, Marilyn's Italian Kitchen, Vesta 88 River House, The Wooden Peel and more.
The Washington Italian Festival is presented by Primo Italiano Lodge #2800, Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, Sons and Daughters of Italy and is renowned for spotlighting the area's rich Italian heritage. This year's impressive lineup of performers includes Allegro Dance Company with feature guest artist Salvatore Guglielmo, New Vintage Big Band, Washington Jazz Orchestra, Street Players and more.
This year's honoree ceremony will recognize Italian American veterans, active-duty U.S. military members and the families of deceased Italian American veterans. The emcee for the ceremony is Washington County Commissioner Larry Maggi, a U.S. Marine veteran.
"As we celebrate 10 incredible years of Italian heritage and tradition in Washington County, we are proud to dedicate this year's Italian Festival to the brave men and women who have served our country," said Carla Miller, festival co-chair. "Join us as we honor our veterans with gratitude and celebrate a decade of family, food, culture and community … Italian style!"
