Program Takes Unique Look at the Banjo

WHEELING - The Ohio County Public Library’s next Lunch With Books program will feature Project Banjo with Enzo Chiodo.

The program will take place at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the library in downtown Wheeling.

"Project Banjo -- An exploration of the banjo's place in American music," is a reimagining of traditional Americana and bluegrass music through an exploration of the banjo’s place within contemporary song-writing and nimble instrumentation.

Accompanied with drum and bass, Project Banjo will shake your impression of what "banjo music" can be by breathing new life into old favorites while celebrating all the many ways the banjo has shaped American music and popular culture throughout history.
