WHEELING - This month's Wheeling Newcomers meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at Generations Restaurant, 338 National Road in Wheeling.
The program is a Fall Fashion Show with the help of local women's clothing store, Ash & Tin Boutique, which is located at 2244 Market St., Wheeling.
The meal begins with a fresh garden salad, with choice of dressing, and warm rolls. The chef will prepare pork loin with apple compote, succotash and scalloped potatoes. Dessert is a sugar dusted chocolate chip brownie. The alternate meal is the Generations salad with chilled sliced chicken breast and raspberry vinaigrette, which also includes dessert. Iced tea, coffee and lemonade are available. The price is $25 inclusive of tax, gratuity, service charge, linen and room rental.
Any woman new or returning to the area is welcome to join the group for its monthly luncheon. Those interested in attending can call Jan at 304-280-4270 by the Monday before the meeting.
