WHEELING - This month's Wheeling Newcomers meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, at Generations Restaurant, 338 National Road, in Wheeling.
The speaker for November will be Bob Bailey, owner of Bob Bailey's Catering and Event Planning. He will speak to the group just in time for the holidays about how to throw the best holiday party ever. The meal will begin with a fresh garden salad, with choice of dressing and warm rolls. The chef will prepare roasted turkey with cranberry compote, stuffing and mashed potatoes and gravy. The alternate meal is the Generations salad served with chilled sliced chicken breast and raspberry vinaigrette. Iced tea, coffee and lemonade are available. Dessert will be provided. The price is $25 inclusive of tax, gratuity, service charge, linen and room rental.
Any woman new or returning to the area is welcome to join for the monthly luncheon. Anyone interested can call Jan at 304-280-4270 by the Monday before the meeting.
