MOUNDSVILLE — Two free movie showings on tap at the Moundsville-Marshall County Public Library.

The feature film “The Wild Robot” — a DreamWorks animated-adventure for the whole family based on the beloved children’s books by Peter Brown — will show at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12. This 2024 film is rated PG and runs for 102 minutes.

There will be another free film showing on Monday, April 14, starting at 6 p.m. at the Moundsville Library. The feature is “Here,” a coming-of-age-drama from the reunited director, writer and stars of “Forrest Gump.” A generational story about families and the special place they inhabit, sharing in love, loss, laughter, and life, “Here” stars Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. This 2024 film is rated PG-13 and runs for 104 minutes.
