City of Wheeling’s Free Summer Entertainment Ready to Get Underway

WHEELING — The city of Wheeling is excited to launch another season of free summer entertainment this week with Toe Tappin’ Tuesdays at Warwood’s Garden Park and Waterfront Wednesdays at Heritage Port in downtown Wheeling.

Saturdays at the Market will kick off on May 24 with a noon performance by The New Age Adenas at Centre Market, offering live music for shoppers.

Toe Tappin’ Tuesdays will begin this Tuesday, May 27, with dance tunes performed live by Twice as Nice. The original launch of Waterfront Wednesdays with a performance featuring Hoard & Jones was canceled because of weather this past Wednesday. This show has been rescheduled to take place on Sept. 3.

This coming Wednesday, May 28, will bring country music by Gage Joseph to Heritage Port for Waterfront Wednesdays.

All concerts for Toe Tappin’ Tuesdays and Waterfront Wednesdays begin at 7 p.m.

A selection of movies will be shown on the big screen outdoors at Heritage Port, beginning June 13 with “Grease.” Movies will begin at dusk.
