Country Roads Festival Comes to Wetzel County 4H Grounds

NEW MARTINSVILLE — The West Virginia Country Roads Festival is this weekend, Sept. 19-21, at the Wetzel County 4H Grounds, 61 4H Camp Road, New Martinsville.
This is a wholesome and family friendly event aimed at showcasing local talents and celebrating time together.
In addition to craft and food vendors, there will be non-profit groups on site that will be sharing their messages with festival goers, and there will be a Grappling and Take-Down Tournament that will benefit flood victims in Ohio County.
Some of the other attractions already announced for this year include: guinea pig races, Cincinnati Circus carriage rides, a horse show, ATV/Mx drag racing and mud racing, plus a demolition derby “Anything With Wheels” show, hot wing eating contest, craft and food vendors, magic shows, a Lego fun zone, and nightly musical entertainment.
Featured musical acts will include Hair Supply, Non-Friction and the Johnny Staats Project.
Admission to the festival is $5 per day with weekend passes available for purchase for just $10 that cover Friday through Sunday.
